Fruit preserve Sour cherry - Made from dark red, finely aromatic sour cherries. The sour cherry, also called (Prunus cerasus), is a plant species of the rose family. It differs from the sweet cherry (Prunus avium) in its glandless, harder leaves and small ones at the base of the inflorescence. Cherries also have a high content of vitamin A.
