Fruit delights with strawberry

Did you know that there are around 20 different strawberry varieties? The Senga Sengana variety grown by Alpe Pragas is a medium-sized, dark red fruit and is characterised by its intense flavour. It was bred around 1950 by Reinhold von Sengbusch. This variety ripens medium-early and is harvested exclusively by hand. Strawberries contain so much vitamin C that 150g would be enough to cover your daily requirement. They contain more vitamin C than oranges or lemons and are one of our absolute favourite fruits
