Fruit preserve Sour cherry - Made from dark red, finely aromatic sour cherries. The sour cherry, also called (Prunus cerasus), is a plant species of the rose family. It differs from the sweet cherry (Prunus avium) in its glandless, harder leaves. Cherries also have a high content of vitamin A.
