Organic fruit preserve apricot - From honey sweet, delicious apricots. The apricot (Prunus armeniaca - also called apricot) belongs to the subgenus Prunophora of the genus Prunus, which belongs to the rose family. Apricots are mainly cultivated in Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Spain. There are also more northern cultivation areas, such as in the South Tyrolean Vinschgau, from where we obtain our apricots. Apricots have a special nutritional value.
