Fruit preserve Lingonberry - Made from slightly acidic, tastefully intense wild lingonberries. The Lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis idaea) is a plant of the blueberry genus. Since the lingonberry is insensitive to frost (tolerated down to -22 °C), it occurs worldwide in the northern hemisphere - from the northern temperate zone to the Arctic. The fruits, which are rarely eaten raw because of their acidic taste, are extremely healthy. In addition to vitamin C, vitamins B1, B2, B3 and beta-carotene (vitamin A) are also found, as well as minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphate. The lingonberry we use is wild harvesting and is particularly appreciated in the Alpine and Scandinavian regions for its intense taste.
