„Chiocolita … just
lovely“
With “Chiocolita …just lovely” – the last
creation of Alpe Pragas – we insert a new product line
in summer 2008. “Chiocolita’s” are fruit and chocolate
crèmes available in the following 4 flavours:
Apricot – chocolate spread
Chestnut – chocolate spread
Peach – chocolate spread
Orange & chocolate spread with rum (1%)
“Chiocolita’s” are a blend of the most excellent
fruit and chocolate. “Chiocolita’s” have intense fruity
flavour and creamy consistency. Enjoy these fruit and
chocolate creams by the spoonful, as a spread over
bread, rusks or croissants, or as an ingredient in your
favourite pastry. “Chiocolita’s” are made of 60% fruit,
12% “Caraibe” bitter chocolate, sugar, lemon juice, and
apple pectin gelling agent.
IMPORTANT: This is not a traditional cream
spread and must be kept in the refrigerator after
opening.
Chocolate
In our “Chiocolita’s”, we use “Caraibe” bitter chocolate
made of 66% VALRHONA cacao, one of the leading chocolate
producers in France. Valrhona has been making
chocolate products in Tain-L'Hermitage in the Rhône
Valley since 1922.
The different cacao flavours are developed according to
their areas of origin and are kept pure. Valrhona
uses its own plantations or participates in the
management of plantations owned by others in order to
ensure high quality levels in raw materials, facility
maintenance, and harvest everywhere. The cacao beans are
dried slowly under the sun for better preservation of
the aroma than provided by machine drying, for instance.
The “Caraibe” bitter chocolate we use in our “Chiocolita’s”
comes from small plantations in the Caribbean islands.
This blend of Grands Crus has all the intense bouquet of
dried fruit. |
