Suppliers

Alas, not everything grows at Braies di Fuori. That is why we rely on people who share our company philosophy and professional outlook who grow fruit in other areas of South Tyrol. They supply us with top quality raw materials. Listed below are some of our suppliers, who contribute to the very special flavour of our products.

Josef und Roswitha Wild, Racines: Currants

For many years Josef and Roswitha Wild have been growing
splendid currants with a balanced flavour between the sweet and
the delicately sour, at Racines near Vipiteno, 1,300 m above sea
    level.

    Judith Schlechtleitner, Bressanone: Raspberries

The life of Judith Schlechtleitner and her husband Arthur is all
focussed on raspberries, which they have been growing and
improving for years in the area of Bressanone.

Alexandra von Goldegg, Parcines/Merano: William Christ Pears

Alexandra von Goldegg has chosen a particular spot for her
William Christ pears: the orchard next to the Spauregg residence
at Parcines, not far from the famous Parcines waterfall and from
the spa town Merano. Her grandfather had been growing apples
and pears here since the 19th century, much appreciated by
customers even as far away as Vienna.

Elmar Dietl, Silandro/Val Venosta: Pala pears and
    «Champagnerrenetten» apples

Elmar Dietl from Val Venosta has a soft spot for native varieties
and knows better than anyone else where to find apple and pear
trees of these particular types. For the Alpe Pragas “Limited Edition”
he gathers «Champagnerrenetten» apples and «Pala» pears,
a typical variety of pear that grows in Val Venosta.

    Robert Vent, Silandro/Val Venosta: Apricots

Robert Vent from Silandro is an enthusiastic grower of the
famous Val Venosta apricot. The intense flavour of this variety
allows us to obtain particularly tasty fruit preserves.

Hartwig Weidacher, Braies: Gooseberries / Currants / Raspberries

Hartwig Weidacher’s fruit fields are just around the corner, at Braies in Val Pusteria. His favourites are
currants and raspberries, but his red and green gooseberries are also particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.
